YU Student Government Documents

This will be a bibliography of YU Student Government Documents. The bibliography is divided into two sections, the first for the Beren Campus Student Government and the Second for the Wilf Campus Student Government. Each section contains subsections for older versions of the constitutions, social media, websites and other miscellaneous documents that I have located. I hope that this will be helpful for people who are interested in understanding the recent development of Student Government at Yeshiva University.

Beren Campus (Murray Hill)

Constitutions:

SCWSC Constitution from the 1997 Guide. The document is internally dated to 1996.

SCWSC Constitution from the 1999 Guide. Same text as the above constitution, but this version was uploaded to the YU domain.

Beren Campus Student Government Constitution and By-Laws April 2023

Beren Campus Student Government Constitution and By-Laws Sept 2023

Other Documents:

Beren Chairs Per Room June 2012 Mentions Student Council Room

Student Event Planning Checklist. The document is probably mislabeled as being from 2012, since the people listed as working in OSL at the bottom align at around 2018.

Wilf Campus (Washington Heights)

Constitutions:

Yeshiva College Senate Constitution 1969. The Senate was a joint faculty-student body that made recommendations for academic policy.

YCSC Constitution with Amendments from the 1996 Guide. The base document of the constitution predates the creation of the Sy Syms School of Business in 1987.

YC/Syms Uptown Senate Constitution from the 1996 Guide. This version was updated after 1987 to incorporate the Sy Syms School of Business.

IBCSC Constitution from 1998 Guide. This document in its present form has to postdate 1983, when the school was renamed Isaac Breuer College.

YSU Constitution with amendments 2009. This base of this document comes from the 2003 Guide (which is why the formatting is wonky) and was drafted for the May 2001 constitutional convention, and was first implemented in Fall 2002.

Wilf Student Government Constitution 2020. May 2020, December 2020

Wilf Student Government Constitution 2022. May 2022, November 2022
